I was referred to Dr. Jarboe after a previous root canal by another endodontist had become infected and very painful. I was in pain and constantly fighting infections for over a year.  After my treatment with Dr. Jarboe I finally found relief and the infection has not come back. The treatment was easier than I expected. Also I had a much easier recovery than I had from the previous treatment I had elsewhere.  

My experience here has been memorable for the pain- free and relaxed endodontic procedures I have undergone. The methods used here are different, the approach is more gentle and stress free. The results have always included less pain medication, faster healing and quicker return to normalcy. I have no problem highly recommending this practice, especially to those with significant fear of dentistry issues.

On my first visit, I was very nervous anticipating what I was about to undergo. To my relief I left the office with no pain from the procedure performed. After the first injection to numb me up, I felt nothing from that point on. I was amazed and while sitting in the chair I was wondering, when am I going to feel the drill or some type of pain but I never felt a thing. I will never go to another endodontic practice now that I found Dr. Jarboe.

After receiving several crowns, I was in constant pain requiring 800mg of Ibuprofen several times daily for nearly two months. My dentist referred me to Dr. Jarboe to determine and fix the issue. The staff were so wonderful! I am such a baby and the first visit I could not stop freaking out so Dr. Jarboe thought it would be best for me to come back and to take some medicine to help me relax during the procedure. When I came back I saw Dr. Ghahraman and the procedure was easy and pain free! I just laid there listening to my iPod and before I knew it I was done. I had to come back for one other little canal that she found and I did it without being medicated, and I was a little nervous but did just fine! It did not hurt, and now I am pain free and do not have to come back except for my follow up appointment. Everyone was so helpful and made me feel like I was a friend rather than a patient.

My story begins when my dentist told me that I needed a root canal because of severe pain in tooth #20.  I scheduled the root canal that very day because I could not stand the pain.  The procedure was very uncomfortable and I could not wait to get out of his chair.  I was told that he could not complete the root canal because of infection and that I should take antibiotics and returned in two weeks.  I had complications with the antibiotic and was not able to return for almost a month.

When I did return for the second half of the root canal, I was in pain.  As he was about to begin the second half of the procedure, I was so anxious that I told him I was sorry but I just could not do it.  I got out of the chair and went home very upset at myself for being so anxious.

Dental Work is always scary.  I came here upset with myself because I needed a root canal.  I'm always after my 2 daughters reminding them of good dental hygiene.  Today was an experience I'll always remember...treasure.  Dr. Jarboe and her staff went far beyond the call of service to make me feel relaxed and cared for.  My goodness, she even shared her lunch with me!  The results were that my tooth needs to be extracted - but at no fault of my own.  These things just happen.   A lesson learned.  It is what it is.  Is she fabulous - most definitely!  Would I see her again - most definitely!  But hopefully it would be just for lunch :)

First I feared the pain.  That was the first thing that came to me when my dentist told me I would have to see an endodontist for a root canal.  However, form the very first phone conversation with Kim I had a great feeling about this practice.  Kim's phone response of "I can help you" reflects the attitude of the whole office.  Everyone is there to help you, the patient.  I credit Dr. Jarboe with setting the tone for the office both in her unrushed, patient-centered manner and by whom she hires.  Dr. Jarboe took time to quell my fears and answer my questions.  It was Dr. Ghahraman who actually did my root canal.  She announced when she was going to do something different.  I always felt well informed and that Dr. Ghahraman was in control.  Vera assisted and kept us entertained.  Ask her to sing for you- she will.  Vera also complemented Dr. G on being quick to complete a difficult task on my tooth.  If Dr. G weren't approachable Vera would not have felt comfortable commenting on her work.  But that openness and comfort is what is evident all through the office.  I am very glad I came here and met all these fine professionals.

This is the best dental experience I've ever had with a root canal.  The doctor and assistant talked to me and explained everything thoroughly, asked me lots of questions and answered mine-- all the time relaxing me.  I was very nervous and in pain.  I felt totally secure with the skill and knowledge during this whole process.  Afterwards, all my questions were answered about what to expect for the next visit as well.  The folks here are all friendly and so patient and intent on helping you find the right solution to your problem--starting with the receptionist.  Her voice on the phone was so friendly and she was as eager to help me as the doctors are.  If you have to have this procedure, this is where you should be. 

Every patient anticipates a necessary root canal with some trepidation, but the alternative of not getting it done is far more unpleasant!  That being said, it's difficult for me to convey how very pleasant my experience was with Drs. I came to Dr. Ghahraman because the endodontist to which my dentist generally refers was on vacation.  My tooth was throbbing and becoming more and more unbearable.  The day after my first visit, Dr. Ghahraman was busy reopening my previously done root canal, removing infected material and more thoroughly completing the job.  On my follow up visit, she was very responsive to my comments about small amounts of residual pain.  As a consequence, she discovered and cleaned a small area that had not been done before.

Aside from the technical competence of the professionals in the practice, I was also impressed by the pleasantness of the staff at the desk the technicians assisting the dentists and Dr. Ghahraman.  They made the procedure as pleasant and comfortable as possible.  Most importantly, they relieved the discomfort and the pain.  I would recommend Dr. Ghahraman and her staff to anyone.

First Impressions are important.  From the moment I entered Dr. Jarboe's office, I had an expectation of an extraordinary practice.  The office is bright and cheery.  Alicia the receptionist was pleasant and helpful.

As I was seated, I noted what appeared to be state of the art equipment, x ray machines, camera, etc.  Then after meeting Vera and Rebecca, I met Dr. Jarboe.  After the examination, she took time to explain the procedure in great deal using a computer screen and actually drawing on the screen.

The root canal procedure took approximately one hour.  I was comfortable and experienced zero pain!  Instructions for care were given verbally and in writing.

Bottom line, the visit to Dr. Jarboe's office was most pleasant.  The staff was extremely nice, and more important, competent.
